The Alula RE106M is a 319.5 MHz (GE Interlogix and Qolsys compatible) wireless tilt sensor with a high accuracy MEMS component. The RE106M tilt sensor monitors the lifting or tilting of anything that moves. It is typically used to secure hatches, overhead roll-up doors and even moveable assets.

The RE106M sends an alarm when tilted more than 45 degrees from the mounting position. If the sensor rotates further than 135 degrees, it is likely to remain in a non-alarm state. For best results, the sensor should rotate within 90 degrees to ensure an alarm state occurs.

Install by mounting the sensor to the inside of a door or window using the mounting screw locations. For garage door installations, the sensor should be mounted to the top panel of the overhead door. This ensures that the sensor closes only when the door is fully closed, and is best for RF range.

The cover of the sensor has a tamper that will alarm when opened, and sends a supervisory signal every hour. To enroll the sensor, all you have to do is place the panel in enrollment mode and tamper the device.
